Mrs. Pim and her family are exploring her hometown of Glen Rock, New Jersey! They went to see the town’s most famous superstar: a giant boulder left behind by an ancient glacier.
Long ago, the Lenape people named the rock Pamackapuka. It was so big and special that people used it as a "nature map" to find their way and a popular spot to meet up with friends. Eventually, the rock became so famous that the whole town was named after it! Try to find Glen Rock, NJ on a map tonight! 🗺️

Good morning from Nevada where Mrs. Duve and Mrs. Serio are soaking up the sunshine! Mrs. Duve cheered on her ducks as they ran the Mt Charleston Marathon Las Vegas. Both set PRs but didn’t quality for Boston. 😁
Challenge your student to find Nevada on a map! 🗺️

The Ames Elementary School bi-annual silent auction is back—and this year we’re bringing twice the fun with a two-part auction! That means double the opportunity to support our incredible Cultural Arts and Enrichment Programs, including music, art, assemblies, and field trips that bring learning to life for our students.
Part 1 kicks off this Thursday, March 19 at 3:00 PM with our online auction, featuring a variety of specially curated, teacher-led experiences that students absolutely love. From grade-level parties and game nights to scavenger hunts and the chance to be a librarian for the day, these are some of the most exciting and in-demand opportunities of the year.
You can also bid on VIP seating for the Spring Concert or Talent Show—a favorite for families!
