Students attended the "Be Seen And Heard" presentation today in accordance with Erin's Law. You can continue the conversation at home by asking your children who their trusted adults are.

Our One Book, One School mural is growing right along with the story, and we love watching Stuart’s world come to life day by day. Keep reading and see where the wind takes him next! Good, better, best! Our Ames students and staff are rooting for the Bears this Sunday! Bear down! 🐻

Our fifth graders have been busy creating tiny oceans! 🌊🔬
Students explored what happens when salt is added to water and used scientific evidence to prove that the salt was still there—even when they couldn’t see it. Through hands-on experimentation, they practiced observing, testing, and explaining their thinking like real scientists. A great reminder that in science, evidence matters just as much as what we can see!

Our fifth graders tried their hand at juggling leading up to winter break! 🤹♀️
Juggling is a fun way to build hand-eye coordination, focus, and perseverance and it’s been great to see students challenge themselves, laugh through mistakes, and keep trying. A perfect mix of movement and learning as they wrapped up the week!
