Congratulations to Hollywood for its top 10 ranking of best Illinois elementary schools according to US News Best Elementary Schools in 2027!

Ames, Blythe, and Central were all well within the top 100 of 1,360 Illinois elementary schools ranked by US News. Hauser ranked just outside of the top 10% of 846 Illinois middle schools. We are so proud of all of our dedicated students and staff!

On October 30, the Illinois State Board of Education will release its annual report card data which assigns each Illinois school one of five Profile of Performance levels. The 2026 report card includes redesigned metrics, basing levels on fixed criteria instead of relative rankings. Casimira Gorman, Director of Teaching and Learning, will share further insights into our ratings and student testing data at the November 4 Committee of the Whole meeting at Central.
