Welcome to eLearning for Speech and Language
Below are resources to help your student practice his or her communication skills at home. Please check back as new resources will be added. Please feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions or concerns.
Language
Please have students utilize 'Reading A to Z' or story books that you have in your home to practice general language comprehension and expression skills. Have your student answer WHO, WHAT, WHERE, WHY, WHEN questions about the story they have read or that you have read to them. Then have your student retell the story back to you. Make sure they include the characters, setting, feelings, actions and ending.
Below are more suggested activities for language development.
Pragmatics
Below are suggestions for you and your student to work on if your student has a speech/language goal to improve pragmatic language development.
Articulation
Please utilize the worksheets below to help your child continue to practice his or her speech articulation sound at home in addition to the work your student has in his/her speech homework folder.
I have also provided a link to an online resource that allows you to access free worksheets for multiple articulation sounds. It provides practice for individual sounds at the word level, sentence level and in short stories.
