____ Solid Figures: Today we’re continuing our work on solid figures. This is still

the lesson on pages 306-307 in your hardcover textbook, you can review

solid figures on these pages if you’d like to. Today you will be constructing

solid figures with the pages in your packet.  You will be building a cube, cone,

cylinder, triangular pyramid. Then look in your house to see if you can find

some of these shapes.  If you don’t have glue or tape, that’s okay, skip that

part, and just look in your house for items that look like this.

Social Studies

____ Read the NewsELA article “America Has a New Favorite Apple, The Gala.” 

Then do the 4 questions at the bottom of the article.
