Writing

____ Write a shape poem about trees.  Use the template as your shape poem. Fill

your tree with words you know about trees.

Math

____ Making Patterns: Today we are doing Patterns.  The lesson is on pages 312-

313 in your hardcover textbook.  You can look at these pages or email me if

you have any questions.  Today your activity will be building your own

patterns using the page called Attribute Block Set.   Create at least 3 different

patterns, and have fun! You do not need to glue or tape your patterns to

return as an assignment.  Just build and share with someone in your

family.      

Social Studies

____ Communities: Read the article “Weekends In Three Communities” then

answer the questions.
